Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Utica will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in New York usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 AMβ8 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach THE HUB EATERY at (315) 864-3564; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, thehubeatery.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 334 reviews, which is a strong result for a restaurant in Utica and suggests consistent service.
Utica is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Utica peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food is great, huge portions and great prices. Pizza is amazing. Thanks for a perfect lunch.

Tonight I posted a bad review and have since taken it down. I understand speaking with someone upfront instead of posting out of anger you will see the good in someone. Tonight my wife ordered what we thought was meatless based on the discrimination in the menu. Needless to say that was not the case. In my previous post Frank the owner reached out to me and wanted to make it right. I 100% appreciate him reaching out and wanting to fix things to satisfy his customer. I apologize for the previous review I posted on his establishment out of seeing my wife upset. Frank you are a good man and our mutual friends speak fondly of you. I am truly grateful for reaching out. Thank you!

Went there on a whim for tomato pie, since my usual was closed on Monday's. While the tomato pie isn't done ahead it did take a little while but that was fine. The bar tender Darcy was SUPER NICE AND FUNNY and we just chatted the time away. I put the pies in the back of my truck and they cooled before I got home. The smell of the pies are completely different from my usual, but the taste is great and I love the crust. My only critique is that there is some ingredient that leaves bad and lasting after taste, all of us agreed on that. I'd go there and get the tomato pie again though.
